This Privacy Policy describes how Tomasz Cegielka ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Animal World application ("the App") and this website (animalworld.kids).
We take the privacy of children seriously. Animal World is designed for children ages 2–7, and we are committed to complying with applicable children's privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
1. Information the App Handles
We do not collect personal information from users of the App, including children. The only information the App asks for stays on your device, as described below.
Child profile (stored on the device only)
To personalise the games, the App asks for your child's first name and age. This profile and your child's game progress are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Photos (Creative Mode)
With a parent's permission, Animal World can save pictures created in Creative Mode to your device's Photos library. This permission is add-only: the App can write new images to Photos, but it never reads, views, or uploads any of your existing photos.
What the App does not do
- Require an account or registration
- Collect email addresses, phone numbers, or any other contact information
- Access your device's camera, microphone, contacts, or location
- Use analytics or tracking SDKs, or track your child across apps or websites
- Serve ads of any kind
Internet connection
The games themselves work fully offline. The App connects to the internet only when you make or restore an in-app purchase (see sections 2 and 5).
2. In-App Purchases
Animal World offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store payment system. We do not receive or store any payment card information. All payment handling is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. To verify and restore purchases, the App uses RevenueCat (see section 5).
A parental gate is required before any purchase screen is shown, ensuring a parent or guardian has given consent before any transaction takes place. The gate shows three digits written out as words (for example, "seven, two, nine"), which the adult types in using an on-screen keypad. After a wrong answer, the gate pauses briefly before another attempt is allowed.
The same parental gate protects all external links within the App, including links to this Privacy Policy and any future links to other apps or websites. Children cannot leave the App or access external content without a parent completing the gate first.
3. This Website (animalworld.kids)
This website does not use cookies, analytics tools, or any tracking mechanisms. No personal information is collected through this website.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Animal World is designed for children under 13. In compliance with COPPA, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Your child's profile (first name and age) and game progress stay on your device. The only data that leaves the device is anonymous purchase data, which is sent to RevenueCat to verify and restore purchases (see section 5).
5. Third-Party Services and SDKs
Animal World does not include any analytics or advertising SDKs. The App uses one third-party service, RevenueCat, to verify and restore in-app purchases.
When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous App user identifier
- Purchase history and App Store receipts
- Device model, operating system version, and App version
- The country and currency of your App Store account
This data is used only to verify and restore purchases. It is not used for tracking or advertising. RevenueCat never receives your child's profile or game progress. Please review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain usage data as described in their privacy policy. We have no control over Apple's data practices. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your child's profile and game progress are kept on your device until you remove them. You can delete them at any time by tapping Delete next to the profile in the App's Settings, or by deleting the App.
To request deletion of purchase data held by RevenueCat, email us at tomgeek566@gmail.com.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
