Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Animal World application ("the App") developed by Tomasz Cegielka ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) , which is incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall control with respect to Apple's rights and obligations.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Animal World offers the following purchase options processed through Apple's App Store:

  • One-time full unlock — a single payment that permanently unlocks all content in the App.
  • Monthly subscription (auto-renewable) — provides full access to all content for one month and automatically renews each month until cancelled.

Auto-renewal. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.

How to cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

Free trial. If a free trial is offered, unused portions of the trial period are forfeited when you purchase a subscription. All payments are processed and managed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.

Parental gate. A math puzzle (solvable by adults only) is required before any purchase screen is shown, ensuring a parent or guardian has given consent before any transaction takes place.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any of its content
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including all graphics, audio, and content, is owned by Tomasz Cegielka and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

5. Children's Use

Animal World is designed for children ages 2–5. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of the App. In-app purchases and access to external links are protected by a parental gate to prevent unsupervised transactions or navigation outside the App.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Animal World does not collect personal information from users.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOMASZ CEGIELKA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Poland.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
